I found a mass in my right breast a little over 2cm big. I went to four different doctors all of them saying different things. 1) Cyst 2) Tumor 3) Swollen milk gland 4) I’ts nothing, don’t worry about it. I finally went to a surgeon and they have decided to remove it on Friday. They keep beating around the bush as to weither it is malignant or not. Has any one else gone through this? Any suggestions or anything you can tell me about the operation and treatment if it is cancerous?
Anything would be appreciated. Thank you.
(I’m only 18 so the doctors didn’t think much of it until now)

Hello this really isn’t a question but I just wanted to make a statement to all those out there who are scared because they discovered a lump in their breast. From my own situation in my right breast a lump was discovered which I found out via mammogram and songram was a benign (non cancerous) cyst and that my breast was fibrocystic (something that affects more than 60 percent of women). I was so scared and anxious to find out if I had cancer or not, but thanks be to God that it was just a cyst. Please for all women who are anxious and scared go to your doctor make that appointment and get peace of mind and most importanly pray to God and ask him to heal you as I did. God bless!! God does answer prayers, and God helps those who help themselves so always do breast checks and go to your doctor with any concerns they can and will help and clarify alot of things for you because I found out alot about breast lumps and various conditions of the breast.By the way I’m 30 years.God is great

About 10 years or so ago I went to the doctor because my breasts were tender with little bumps under the skin. The doctor said they were cyst. He told me to stop consuming caffeine. So I did, and they went away. About 6 years ago I had implants put in. And about 2 years ago started having pain in my right breast. I went to the doctor and they didn’t find anything. In the mean time I got on this Starbucks coffee kick and I don’t know if the caffeine is causing this, but my right breast has been sore now for 2 months on the right side. I now have bump the size of a penny on it as well. So I have stopped consuming caffeine again now for about 4 days. However the pain is increasing and the bump is getting bigger. It feels like someone is stabbing my breast. I don’t have medical insurance either, I have no money, and I am scared and do not know what to do, any suggestions?

I was wondering are there any steps to help prevent breast cyst, i’m 18 and for some reason i always have a breast cyst they stay for long periods of time somtimes they come on both sides other times no matter what when one goes away another one is forming they start off small a little aching bump next thing i know there bigger, i have had an aspiration b4 because one got so big i couldn’t move, Why do they keep coming so consistently?
