My breast hurts, could it be a cyst?

Breast Cyst
::Sam::

The outer side of my left breast kind of hurts, but only when I touch it,I feel a lot of little lumps but they are normal I guess because i feel the same little lumps on my other breast, except that on this one they are tender and when I massage it hurts more.

You might think then why do i touch them? Well,I am 21 and I barely started getting into checking my breast regularly for lumps, you never know…

Could the tenderness and little burning on that side be a cyst? I heard breast cancer lumps don’t hurt so that’s why I am not really concerned.

I a cyst concerning(if it is one) and does it go on its own or does it need medical attention?

The Hidden Secret

Has anyone ever had a cysts removed from breast?

freckles1063

I am suppose to have a fine needle aspiration done. I guess my biggest fear is that I will end up w/ a biopsy and it will be cancerous. Has anyone else gone through this procedure? How is it ? Pain, does it take very long? ETC…….

Does inflammation hold fluids?

utgrrl7798

I recenly found a lump in my left breast and have been going to different docs for the past month or two. They, the doctors, recently said that it could be inflammation or a cyst. I do have a strong family background of cancer and noncancerous cysts. Any ways I was wondering if the type of inflammation that I MAY have could hold fluids or not?

Tubal pregnancy or ovarian cyst?

Frankie Baby 82

I have had a plastic (hormonal) IUD for 3 years. Just in the last 3 weeks I’ve had some dark spotting but that went away. I’ve also had some left-sided pelvic pain, feeling bloated, and can feel a tight knot in my left side, just in the last week. I took a pregnancy test, but it was negative, of course my sex life has been very sporadic, only once in the last 2 months, and the timing wouldn’t make sense at all. I suppose it’s possible that I got pregnant 2 months ago and am just now noticing. But I have no other symptoms like nausea, breast tenderness, etc, which I definitely had with my 2 daughters. I also have a history of ovarian cysts and endometriosis, and it could be either one of these as well.
I guess my question is (because I already know I need to see a doctor), has anyone ever had a tubal pregnancy and how do they treat it, is it really painful and awful, etc?

We took him to the doctor he didn’t say much at all about it he just felt and that was it. The doctor should have said something about it could it be a cyst, cancer built up tissue. What could it be and be in detail please?

Should I start worrying if DR ordered breast MRI and biopsy?

Breast Cyst

I’m in my early 30′s, and recently found a lump in my breast. I went to the doctor, and she immediately ordered a mammogram. After the mammogram, the radiologist sent me to a sonogram. He came to visit me after the technician took pics to him and said he was recommending an MRI and biopsy. The lump is pretty large. Maybe one inch in diameter and 3 inches long. It is definately not a cyst, and it isn’t breast tissue. The MRI isn’t until next week, and the biopsy not scheduled for 2 weeks. (I’m to take all the films from all the previous tests to each new test)
I guess my question is if I should start getting things in order at work in case I have to be gone for surgery or treatment, or just start to worry after I hear from the specialists.
Thanks!

Going round in circles, estrogen? or progesterone?

Went to the doctors a few weeks back to have a routine smear done. Whilst talking with my doctor and him asking me my medical history, i started to cry for no reason.I must have spoken with out taken a breath for 10 mins. Bad skin, mid cycle bleeding, and such mood swings which i have never had before a year ago. Feeling flat, bad sleep pattern, sweats, sore breasts, cysts in my breast last year. I could not stop talking. i felt so stupid but he was fantastic handed me a tissue and said right lets start living again. He gave me an mot and gave me 12 weeksof medication(surgestone). This is the strange bit i have no idea what he said they were for but that they may help and he did not want me to take them any longer than the 12 weeks and then to come back to him.I sound bloody stupid as i am not sure if he said Estrogen or Progesteron. The reason for my stupidness is not only the tears but living in France 4 a year yukkk. I am 41 years of age. I will go back to my gp but just wanted to others views. Thanks x

Lump in breast?

Tara W

Last week, I found a small pea size lump in my left forearm. Doesn’t hurt, move etc… I made an apt to go see my Dr. Then, on Saturday, I found a lump in my right breast.
Yesterday, I went to my apt with my Dr, and he told me that the lump in my arm is most likely a cyst, to keep an eye on it, and if it gets bigger or moves, to go back and see him. He then did a breast exam, and said that the lump in my breast is “sitting at 11 o’clock”. He said he think this is a cyst as well. . If the lump is still there next month or gets bigger, he is going to send me for a mammogram. EEIK.

My question is, has anyone gone though this before? Is this something I should be concerned about? Do they go away on their own or do they have to be removed?
I am starting to freak out a little bit. My husband says not to worry, but it isn’t his breast!
Any advice or suggestion would be great!
Thanks
Also some more info: I am only 26, and do not have regular menstral cycles. I only menstrate every 3-4 months tops. They don’t seem concerned about that either.
One more thing ( yes, I should have really thought about this before I posted )
I had two people in my family ( my grandmother on my mom’s side and aunt on my dad’s side ) pass away from breast cancer. Also, lost several other family members from cancer ( lung cancer, brain tumors, etc… ) My father also lost his eye when he was 2 from retinoblastoma- something I (and my daughter )am still checked for.
