need some advise here.
Last week i had undergone a routine physical check-up.
After the breast examination the doctor suggested i get a mammo.
results came in today. Need someone to interpret below findings for me.
i will be going to my physician tomorrow, but need some advise today because i am starting to freak out. here goes:

Prominent duct patter which involves more than one quarter of the breast volume. Suspicious abnormality, biopsy should be considered.
Standard cephalocaudad and mediolateral oblique projections revealed an ovoid hypodense nodule in the lower outer quadrant of the left breast which is suggestive of lipoma or an oil cyst. a concommitant cluster of granular microcalcfications is noted in the upper midline area more posterior in location than the mentioned nodule. Recommend biopsy localization.

i need to know what are the chances that the mass is benign.

Angina Information

Does anyone know how to prevent/treat cysts in the breasts? I drink very little caffinated beverages and dont eat much chocolate… what else can I do to stop them from hurting? I’ve been taking the same birth control for a few years now, and these cysts started maybe 6 months ago. My breasts are always tender and hurt. My gyno sent me to a surgeon, and he blew me off saying that “it’s just part of being a woman.” I’m going to get a second opinion but in the mean time anyone have any remedies or advice?

I’m 18 wks preggy right now, and I was having pain in my right breast. I went to the Obygyn for a regular monthly check and told her that I am haveing swelling, and pain and it’s only in the right breast. She did a breast exam and said I have many cysts and I need to have an ultra sound, now I have on scheduled 2 weeks from now, but I’m worried! Not about the ultra sound, but what does this mean??? I have had cysts on my ovaries, and 2 that needed to be drained, but could they be cancerious? Could this cause problems down the road, like later in life? Does everyone one have cysts in there breasts? Is this even normal??? How on earth do you get them there? I’m really confussed and all this stuff on the net is not very helpful.

So I have been tanning because it is almost November and I feel that I look better tan. Don’t we all?

On Wednesday I had gotten out of the tanning bed and noticed that my left boob was having a weird pain, and when I went to “rub” it, I felt a really hard lump. It scared the sh*t out of me, because like I said, cancer runs in my family. Fast forward two days, the lump is still there, not as hard and seems to be moving from the top left clockwise.

For further information the lump isn’t as hard now and I am just getting over having my period as well.

My mom and others say it might be fibrocystic or a cyst.

I am going to planned parenthood today to get it checked out, but I’m wondering if anybody has experienced this and it turned out to just be a normal thing many women go through. I am 19 and I don’t normally get that sore of boobs and I’ve never had a lump that I know of.

Iam so freaked out!! My left breast hrts today! Iam not sure if its bcz I haven’t wore a bra in 2 days or what. Iam 34 pretty healthy, have 2 little ones. What could this be? I used to have fluid cyst, but this isin’t the same place…some reasure me!!!! Please.

even though both breast is sore (one is more tender and their is an obvious lump). it came out of no where too.

but when i had lumps they were cysts and i had no feeling that it could be cancer but this time i felt a really bad feeling about it. in which i never had such a feeling when i was sick either.

i do have a history of cancer in my family but not breast cancer. and can my gut feeling be true?

Yeast Infection No More

At my 9 week prenatal check up, I had a breast exam and was told that I have cysts in my breasts, that they would most likely go away and that they weren’t anything to worry about unless they got hard and I wasn’t able to move them with my fingers. The cysts can be very painful – one of them started hurting last night and I went to rub it and it felt hard and maybe I was just freaking out or letting my imagination get the best of me, but I couldn’t move it and it was rather small. Do you think that since I JUST had a breast exam that it’s probably one that she felt, especially since she lingered in that area for a while? I have a dr’s appt on the 8th with my OB and am going to mention it to him then. Just looking for suggestions until then.
By the way, I am 16 weeks now.
