I have a pre existing conditon called Fibrocystic Breast Disease I have had several lumps removed over the years. In fact my breast are so lumpy my Dr. cant even tell a benign lump from a cancerous lump and they have me get a mamogram twice a year.

Approximatley 3 years ago I got breast implants. Every thing has went well. However last week I noticed a very large lump just below my left nipple. This lump is very prominent and easily located by just lightly touching my breast. I am late for my period and I know it is common to have lumps at this time and given the fact that I always have lumps I tend to think this is just a benign cyst. I was told that it could be a valve problem with my implants. I plan on seeing my Dr. but I wanted to wait until my period started. Would’nt you know I am about 2 weeks late and I starting to feel like maybe I should go to the Dr. tomorrow. Has anyone ever experienced this kind of trouble relating to a valve problem with implants?

I recently found a lump in my breast that did not show up on an ultrsound so I am preparing to go see surgeon to see if he wants to biopsy it. Docotor say’s lump is mobile. I’ve heard so many people say cysts dont hurt. The area of my breast were the lump os hurts as well as in my rib cage, arm pit and shoulder. So does this sound like a cyst? The doctor used doctor terms to explain to me why it didn’t show up even thought it is close to the skin

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year. My doctor diagnosed me/w PCOS because I was overweight with no menstrual period and infertile. I have acne but I mean I don’t think its out of control. I don’t have hair overgrowth or cysts on my ovaries. I was put on medroxyprogesterone for two months then I went on metformin to help with weightloss and fertility. A month later, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Before that, I was nauseous, vomiting, sensitive to certain smell, and cramping with breast tenderness. I didn’t think anything at first because those were some of the side effects of metformin. Now I’ve taken 3-4 pregnancy test and they all say positive but it could also be an ovarian cyst since all the symptoms are similar to that. I have been cramping on my lower right abdomen once in while but otherwise, nothing too severe. Made an appt with the doctor but need to what others think…some insight…

Yeast Infection No More

Well last week the doctors found a large lump in my breast and sent me in to get an ultrasound. They said it looked abnormal so I also got a mammogram. I’m only 20, and it doesn’t run in my family, but the doctor said its very large and abnormal, and its not a cyst. They rated it as a level IV. I am supposed to meet a surgeon about it tomorrow, but the two doctors I have met so far said it needs to come out completely. Should I be worried about this being cancer?

I was misdiagnosed as to having a breast cyst on my mammogram, breast ultrasound and by my physican at the time who did a physical exam. I have now been under cancer treatment for year. My cancer was diagnosed 8 months after I was told the small lump was a cyst close to the surface of the skin. I was told to apply hot packs and see a dermotologist when I wanted to have the lump lanced. The radiologsit came into my exam room after my ultrasound and said the lump was a cyst. Two doctors , two opinions. This is why I didnt go get another consult. The bump was so small , it moved around like a pimple under the skin. They took out a lump the size a bit larger than a golf ball.

Since 3am this morning I’ve had this needle type pain in my left nipple region! I was recently diagnosed with a cyst in that left breast and was wondering if this is something I should worry about or if it happens to a LOT of women! PLEASE help! I’m only 24 years old and is wondering if I should worry about this and go see my doctor or not!

I read that birth control can cause depression,breast tenderness,ovarian cysts, heavier more painful periods,anxiety and depression,breast lumps and migraines. Especially Yaz and Loestrin 24. I am 29 yrs old,mother of two and I also take Wellbutrin for anxiety. Xanax occasionally.
So….what the heck? I don’t want an IUD because it basically just holds your cervix open the tiniest bit so if an egg does get fertilized,it falls out. That’s is just what i’ve heard,so i’m not sure if that is true.
I’m afraid the Nuva Ring won’t give off enough hormone to help my symptoms or it might slip and not prevent pregnancy.Cancer runs rampant in my family and i’ve heard bad things about birth control,of all types causing cancer.*Sigh* Can anyone give me some ideas? I don’t want to be a Guinea pig with birth control the way i have been with anti-depressants for years!
My main concern is NOT pregnancy…it’s making all the symptoms i already have worse..
