my mom recently went in for an ultrasound and spot compression and they found a lump that is not a cyst. there was a slightly swollen lymph node in her armpit. does this mean she has cancer? She goes for yearly mammograms so how far could the cancer have gotten.? Plz help!!!

Can a benign lymph node eventually turn into a malignant lymph node?
I am going to have my 3rd mammogram in less than 12 months. I’ve been told that I have a benign lymph node in my left breast but that I need to repeat mammograms every 6 months. I got this information from the hospital where the mammography took place (they mailed me a letter) but have not been told by a doctor. This all started because I have a history of fibroid cysts and had to have my first mammogram at 26. I had another one at 35 and 40. I just recently turned 41 and am going for my 6 month check up. I am wondering if I should make an appointment with my gynecologist about this since she was the one who initially referred me for the 40 year mammography check up in the first place. If not her, then what kind of doctor should I or do I see? Can a benign lymph node turn eventually become cancerous? I’m getting a little nervous and frustrated.

I’ve been working out recently, 5 days a week for just 30 min each time.
I’ve also been taking protein powder twice a day. 27g each time.

It contains soy and whey protein.

Around the same time I started working out and taking protein, I have noticed a cyst under my left nipple. I am 20 and my doctor told me it’s an unusual age to have it because this usually occurs in 13-14 year olds.

I know soy has estrogen and I AM working out so I’m wondering if all this is causing some kind of stress and imbalance on my body.

Should I stop taking the protein powder? I cannot stand this cyst. My doctor says it’s just breast tissue and that it should go away in less than 1-2 years.

It doesn’t hurt without touching it, but feels like a bruise if I do.

Im turning 18 soon and ive got a big problem. My breasts are really uneven. My right one is a B cup and my left one a small A cup. I am pretty skinny and i put on like 3 kg and my breasts are still the same. My breasts were once the same size but then i got this bump (cyst) in my left breast and after it had gone (was on medication) my left breast got smaller. Is there any chance of my breasts growing or any chance of my left breast getting back to the size as my right one? or is plastic surgery (breast correction) the only option?
