I recently found a lump in my breast that did not show up on an ultrsound so I am preparing to go see surgeon to see if he wants to biopsy it. Docotor say’s lump is mobile. I’ve heard so many people say cysts dont hurt. The area of my breast were the lump os hurts as well as in my rib cage, arm pit and shoulder. So does this sound like a cyst? The doctor used doctor terms to explain to me why it didn’t show up even thought it is close to the skin
I have lumps in my breasts and when I was pregnant with both of my boys I got them in my arm pit area under both arms. The doctor said the ones in the breast was just fibrocystic tissue and the ones under my arms where some type of cyst too I can’t remember the name at the moment. But I still feel like something is wrong. I have pain on the right side all the time. The other night I had a dream that a doctor was telling me I had breast cancer. I might just be going insane. But Do you think I should demand an ultrasound? I don’t think a mammogram will pick up where I feel the pain or lumps.

I am almost 22 years old, I’ve never had kids and I’ve got very sharp pains in my left breast. This has been ongoing for months now and the pain comes every week, not just during my period. About a year ago I had a huge lump under my left armpit and my primary doctor just dug it out, said it was a cyst. That part is still somewhat larger than the rest of my arm pit. My breast hurts when the pain comes and also my nipples are always very tender. They hurt when they’re touched. My left nipple is darker colored than my right and has sploches on it. I need help with what I should do, I don’t want to freak myself out but I don’t want to think this is nothing.
I have had fybroid (sp) cysts there for years, more painful before that time of the month, excess caffeine, etc. This last month during my period a petruding lump appeared but has since gone away. I’m scared that it’s something more serious but also recently had blood work done due to a history of family cancer and it came out fine.
