Two weeks ago I saw my OB/GYM I found a lump, he wanted it checked out, so he ordered a mammogram. They said they found something abnormal and needed more test. Then I had the ultra sound STILL nothing definite. The Radiologist said he can’t rule anything out yet, then scheduled me for a Breast MRI and a Surgery Consultant. I just had the MRI, and I go tomorrow for the result from the surgery person. This will be the 5th person I have seen and still no good or bad news. I am assuming because I am seeing a surgery person they want the lump removed no matter what. They said it was about 3cm, and they don’t think it is a cyst that is all the info I have received.

Can a breast MRI show that something is cancer? what is the MRI showing them that the other tests didn’t. I am also wondering why nobody has said anything about doing a biopsy? you would think after 5 visits I would have a definite answer by now. Any help is appreciated. I feel like I am left in the dark. And just a little more info the lump is on the right breast I don’t have any pain or discoloration it is just there. No dimpling, or discharge of any kind.

I am freaking out right now because my mom has a lump in her breast. She went for a biopsy today. My mom means so much to me I would cut of both my legs if it meant saving her life. She’s already had cancer, a different kind of cancer, and she survived and she just passed her 10 year cancer free mark and she was so happy about it, then she finds this. After my dad cheated on her and everything. Completely devasting.

I HOPE its just a cyst or something. IAccording to her ts large, non-painful, its perfectly round in shape and its moveable. According to her, she used to be a nurse, cysts are not generally PAINLESS so shes worried its cancer. Could it be? please i need some support

Does the number of times you have surgery determine how long you live? That is to say, the more times you have surgery the shorter you’ll live… or just the opposite? What do you think?

The cyst is probably solid. From your experiences did you get the cyst surgically removed or just a biopsy without surgey?

Yeast Infection No More

I am going to get a mammogram done soon. After that what do they do? I am only 21 and have had this since I was about 14. Yes..I said 14. Until a while ago I thought it was normal so I didn’t have anyone pursue it. About 70% of my both my breasts are cysts. SO….what do you think they will do after the mammogram? Since you can no longer feel any individual cysts do you think they will have to do a biopsy or does it just depend? Anyone been here? OR know a good website where I can go for good reliable info? Any info is very much apreaciated…seriously.

my best friend went for a mammogram today and she has a small mass . they said its in the shape of a spider web and its not a cyst and it needs a biopsy. they said it could be numerous things. she has had it awhile. it is noticable when she touches it, hard, painless.
they want to put a needle in there for a biopsy. is there a good chance its not cancer ?
she is getting a biopsy..they said its 2 to 4 cm and the radiologist said he was suspicious its cancer.

I have been having sharp and burning pain in my right breast. A couple of months after the pain began I had a dime-size red spot show up near the area with the most pain. It faded to brown. A week after that showed up, a second red spot, same size and shape appeared a half inch about it. It too faded to brown and now both have been there for over a month, maybe 2 months now. I have been to doctors and had ultrasounds done. All they say is that I have benign cysts. Could it be Inflammatory Breast Cancer? What do I do? No one will biopsy it.
Any info helps, my pain is intense and daily.

they did a ultrasound on my lumps I have and nothing showed up it but my doctor who did the examination said there was definitely something there so their gonna do a biopsy just to see what it is.
