how will i know if a have breast cysts?

Can someone help me out with this…is it possible to SEE the outline of a breast cyst underneath your skin? Or if you can see the outline of the lump is it cancer?

I’ve kind of always had a little bump on my nipple, but recently it has grown. I’ve had it for over a year and it never came to head like a pimple, nor was it painful to the touch. I squeezed it and white discharge came out, but it was not liquidy like puss, it was almost solid and kind of pasty. I have had a breast exam in the past that came back clear. Angina Information

My period came 10 full days early. It was a full period with all the usual heaviness and clots.

My period before was “normal” except that the heavy part was 1/2 day shorter…light part 2 days shorter. (all in all normal) However, my breasts hurt hurt hurt. they hurt so bad I made an appt for a mammogram since I have a history of breast cysts. (it was normal)
I fell 2 days before I got that early period. there was 1 spot of dark blood on undies that afternoon (smaller than a dime)-I thought it was unusual but not much else.Then, I got that period 10 days early
Could it have been a miscarriage? I am very regular. I was understress-but no more than in the past-and stress has never ever affected me….
would have never thought I was pg but when I called the doc b/c this has never happened before (again, very regular) she said to take a pg test (neg-but if was m/c wouldn’t it be by that time anyway?) i’m freaking b/c if I was pg-that means I can get pg! (hist of infertile)

Little background… Last month my mom was diagnosed with breast cysts. Apparently normal with women going thru menopause (her doc said). But she was sent to a specialist, just to make absolutely sure. she also had a mammogram and ultrasound of breasts and showed nothing of concern (just massy breasts). She also was checked a few weeks ago for her annual pap/breast check and they were good. Last week at her appt at the specialist, she felt something ‘different’. She said she really didn’t think it was cancerous but it just felt different than the other side. So she wants her to get an MRI done and come back in two weeks. She didn’t feel it when she was laying down but she felt it after she sat up. She said it felt like a pebble and was ‘floating’. Whatever that means! Now my question is if she was really worried about it (the doc), wouldn’t she rush to get the test and followup appt? And could this just be another cyst? My mom is freaking out and stressing big time and I am worrying too! Wel the doc wanted to send her to the MRI b/c my mom’s sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer last year so they didn’t want to take any chances. But if she thought it was cancerous, wouldn’t they hurry up and find out rather than dragging it out for a few weeks to a month? Her appt for the MRI is on Fri and her followup appt isn’t until the NEXT Fri. And the appt that she felt something was practically 2 weeks ago!

I have cysts on my breast and my Dr. recommended getting my breast reduced ( they are currently a DD). I don’t know anyone that has had it. How long are you in pain? How long are you at the hospital? I work at a factory, how long will I be off? Please can anyone give me any input???
