Any one have these before? Did you get rid of them? They are cyst that are hard not soft. Not fluidic. I have NO clue why this left one is hurting so much. Size of quarters…one in each breast. Not sure why the doctor won’t just take them OUT. It is scary for me cuz i had squamous cel carsinoma 8 yrs ago…accelerated cancer growth. keeping these in my breast make me nervous and now one is actin up. I know cancer is painless so if ur havin pain…it’s a “good sign”. But it doesn’t help with the fact this nodgle was NEVER painful before a week ago. I have no uterus and only have one ovary. I just can’t figure this out. Why won’t they just take it OUT? I can’t sleep well at night cuz of the pain…most days I can’t wear a bra with out more pain…ugh! I thnk the nodgles are hardend breast milk dried up in breast tissue from my last pregnancy! Crazy as it sounds but hey, it’s the best I can come up with! Any other guesses?

Angina Information

I have one that is kind of painful (diagnosed as a galactocele via ultrasound). The doctor says it’ll just go away after I wean (which could be in a year or more). He didn’t have any suggestions on how to make it more tolerable in the meanwhile. Has anyone had one that went away after, or hopefully before, weaning? Is anyone else out there prone to breast lumps? Sigh…

I know lumps in the breast can be serious but all of the information I have found regarding little to no pain and small sized lumps indicate a cyst or fibroid. I have no other symtoms like redness, the orange peel skin or inverted nipple. I have come to the conclusion that it is not serious enough to persue. The test done for all lumps is fine needle biopsy and I hate needles. There is no history of breast cancer in my family but one sister did have lumps a few years back and they were benign. My lump is in the same area with the same symtoms. Wait and see???

OK, I’m going to arrange to see my doc about this next week, but was hoping someone could advise in the meantime.

The top area of my left breast feels as though there’s a lump in it – not painful or tender, just an area of thicker tissue. It’s definitely there, and when I feel it with my fingers I can actually pinpoint an area of harder tissue roughly the size of the top of my thumb in the middle of this thicker area.

I know most breast lumps turn out to be nothing, but was just wondering what should an ordinary breast lump feel like, a cyst for example, or are there any characteristics I should look for or be worried about in cancerous lumps?
