I had sex about 3 weeks ago. It was my first time. I had my period a week afterward but it was lighter and lasted 3days instead of the usual 5. I’ve had a lot of pain and this kind of swollen feeling in my lower region since. I’ve had back pain as well. Some times my lower back sometimes my whole back. I went to the doctor for a check up and a pregnancy test and a blood test. The tests came back negative. The doctor suspects the problem to be ovarian cysts but now after I’ve gotten a negative test my breasts have started hurting. My breasts are fairly large so I thought maybe they were just getting heavier or something. It doesn’t hurt all the time though and sometime one breast hurts more than the other. Could I still be pregnant or am I just thinking about it so much its stressing me out or something like that? Help please!

I recently found out that I have fibrous cysts in my breasts. I am definitely not a dieter. But I have been told to observe certain eating/drinking habits. I am looking for an easy to follow diet plan to reduce fibrous cysts.

I’m 18 wks preggy right now, and I was having pain in my right breast. I went to the Obygyn for a regular monthly check and told her that I am haveing swelling, and pain and it’s only in the right breast. She did a breast exam and said I have many cysts and I need to have an ultra sound, now I have on scheduled 2 weeks from now, but I’m worried! Not about the ultra sound, but what does this mean??? I have had cysts on my ovaries, and 2 that needed to be drained, but could they be cancerious? Could this cause problems down the road, like later in life? Does everyone one have cysts in there breasts? Is this even normal??? How on earth do you get them there? I’m really confussed and all this stuff on the net is not very helpful.

For the past 2-3 months or so my breasts hurt when I am not wearing a bra. Recently I felt something hard,maybe a lump, in my right breast. okay so about 4 months ago i found out i had what the doc thought to be a breast cyst
i was guna have it drained b/c he saod it wasnt necessary to remove it [[i had an ultra sound]]
anyways………it was never drained b/c the pain from the cyst went away

4 months later:::
my hair falls out alot
especially when i shower, it comes off in bunches
and its always on my clothes
also, the breast where the cyst was hurts ALOT when i have my period
BEFORE the cyst, it didnt hurt as much
and im cinstantly gaining and losing weight

so it is possible i have breast cancer?
what should i do?

I am 45 and have been skipping periods and having more intense PMS whether I have a period or not, so am assuming I am perimenopausal. Last month I noticed a small bump between my breasts, under the skin. It seemed to go away, but today I felt it again, and it is larger this time. It has never hurt (though I poked and prodded at it today and now it is a little sore). I have never had cysts before, that I know of. Does this sound like a cyst? i have 2 small cysts, but the hospital wont remove them, im going back for a 2nd visit to the consultant next week.
Regards to purple,, could you email me please regarding how you were first diagnosed, only if you dont mind. im really sorry to hear your diagnosis. i just cant understand why the doctors didnt remove my cysts in the first place.
