Well last week the doctors found a large lump in my breast and sent me in to get an ultrasound. They said it looked abnormal so I also got a mammogram. I’m only 20, and it doesn’t run in my family, but the doctor said its very large and abnormal, and its not a cyst. They rated it as a level IV. I am supposed to meet a surgeon about it tomorrow, but the two doctors I have met so far said it needs to come out completely. Should I be worried about this being cancer?

It did, then came back after a hospitalization for an unrelated issue, I noticed that it changed from being movable to becoming a solid mass. New MD said that while it was not irregular in shape, it was solid so she wanted it to get checked out. I had a mammogram and ultrasound on Monday- they called yesterday and asked me to call them back. I figured if it was a major thing they would try my cell phone- they didn’t. So I called today and left a message for the nurse to call me back- I’m still waiting and now I am really starting to worry.

I went to my doctor today because I have a lump in my breast. I’ve had it for awhile & was told previously by a different doctor that it was a cyst but lately I’ve been having a little pain in the breast. My doctor thinks it could be a blocked milk duct but she wants me to get a mammogram & ultrasound done just in case. I also have a little clear & milky white discharge if I squeeze the nipple. She said I could still be lactating but I haven’t been breast feeding for 18 months. Anyone had anything like this happen to them?

Anxiety Help

I have had this lump for at least 10 years but I never got it checked because I gained weight and thought it went away. Now that I have lost a lot of weight I feel it again. If it were cancerous wouldn’t have already killed me? I think it’s probably just a cyst but I’m gonna tell my doctor anyway to check it out. What are your opinions? Anyone go with undetected breast cancer for that long without treatment and survived?

Help with Angina

O.k. I just had a biopsy because I found a lump in my breast. Geepers. I’ve had my appendix removed, I’ve had cysts removed from my ovaries. I’ve had a c-section and my gall bladder removed. I’m sick of being poked and cut open.

Does the number of times you have surgery determine how long you live? That is to say, the more times you have surgery the shorter you’ll live… or just the opposite? What do you think?

Ive had a hard lump in my breast, for a really long time.

at first it was swollen, but then eventually it went down, but it stayed hard, and my right breast was not hard, but now it is.

i went from a 34 c to a 36 D. (in time of course)
And the right one is smaller so i assume..thats why it was hard like the other one but it didnt happen at the same times

so now they are both hard is that normal..
is this how breast develop?

i will tell my mom when she wakes up but last time she didnt believe me she thought i was lying for somereason, just like when my 34 C bra stopped fitting.

I feel like im making a big deal out of this and i would be very nervous to have a stranger look at my breast.

Im not breastfeeding, or pregnant.

I recently found a lump in my breast that did not show up on an ultrsound so I am preparing to go see surgeon to see if he wants to biopsy it. Docotor say’s lump is mobile. I’ve heard so many people say cysts dont hurt. The area of my breast were the lump os hurts as well as in my rib cage, arm pit and shoulder. So does this sound like a cyst? The doctor used doctor terms to explain to me why it didn’t show up even thought it is close to the skin.

Anxiety and Panic Attacks

I’ve had a small lump in my breast for quite some time now. I saw my doctor about it & she said it seemed to be a cyst (don’t know how she’d know that just from an external exam?). She told me to keep checking it & to cut out the caffeine & if it didn’t get any bigger than not to worry about it. This was a few years ago & it hasn’t changed but recently I’ve noticed some whitish colour discharge from only that breast (the left). I’m not pregnant or breastfeeding anymore (haven’t been for over a year) & this has been going on for a few months now. Also, I’ve been getting some pains in that breast that come & go. I’m going next week to get it checked out again. ANYONE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE & WHAT HAPPENED? I’m very healthy otherwise…I eat very well & exercise daily but I have a very strong history of cancer in my family & I’m really worried. Thanks for any tips!!!
