It did, then came back after a hospitalization for an unrelated issue, I noticed that it changed from being movable to becoming a solid mass. New MD said that while it was not irregular in shape, it was solid so she wanted it to get checked out. I had a mammogram and ultrasound on Monday- they called yesterday and asked me to call them back. I figured if it was a major thing they would try my cell phone- they didn’t. So I called today and left a message for the nurse to call me back- I’m still waiting and now I am really starting to worry.

I know there’s something there. I’ve been to two doctors and no one can find anything. I’ve also had an ultrasound. I have implants and was wondering if a cyst or tumor could be hidden under the implant. My doctor feels its just breast tissue, but if that’s the case, why would it be painful?

I had an ultrasound today on my right breast and they said they found a couple of cysts. But she said don’t worry about it. I have another appointment tommorow, but I am worrying. What in the world is a cyst and will it go away naturally or do they have to remove it??? Does anyone know????

Yeast Infection No More

I had a mammagram and was sent back for an ultrasound of Right Breast. They found lots of dense tissue and then several cysts. I then went for an MRI about a week ago. I called Dr. office and she has not read the report from the mri yet. If it were something bad wouldnt they have notified my Dr. and she would have called by now. Husband says no news is good news, but I am a little worried it may be cancer. My Mom and 2 of her sisters died from this disease. Should I keep bothering the Dr. or just wait?

My mom had a mammogram done and it came back with two abnormal spots, one in each breast. She had the ultrasound done today and the doctor was unable to find either of the spots. They are going to order an MRI for her. Has anyone else had this before and what was the outcome? She has had an abnormal test before eight years ago and it was just a cyst, however that one was seen on ultrasound. Both her sisters have/had breast cancer. (She just turned 54 yesterday)

my best friend came over tonight and had an exam today and she is being sent for a mammogram and ultrasound. she has a lump over her left nipple,its round,hard and 4 cmm. she said its been there a year and was afraid to go to doc. she is 36. i am hoping its a cyst. do you think it is ? she is not big chested and she said when laying down it is visible, hard, and makes her aerola indent some.

I was having some issues while on birth control. I had been on it for almost a year. I was bleeding mid cycle for 2 months then I started my period beginning of November and it didnt really stop until mid December. I saw my Dr on the 18th of December and she advised me to stop taking my pill to have a regular cycle. She also scheduled me for an ultrasound which I had done on Jan. 3rd. According to that everything looked fine/normal except a small cyst on my ovary. Last week I started feeling a little crampy, my breasts started getting swollen and tender and I have been exhausted. On a hunch, I took an HPT last night and this morning, both were positive. I don’t know when to calculate my last cycle because of the problems. Is it at all possible I was pregnant when I had that ultrasound and it didn’t show up? Would a preg test come back positive so soon if I wasn’t then? Would I have the symptoms so soon? I would only be at most almost 3 weeks along. I am a little confused. Thanks!
I do have a follow up appointment with an OB-GYN tomorrow morning. I was referred by my regular dr who just does internal medicine after my ultrasound came back clear. She couldn’t explain or figure out why I was having the probs I was. I haven’t been on my pills since Dec. when she told me not to take them.

I had some bleeding and discharge the day after having sex. about a week later i went to the doctor to get checked out she did and exam and made me go have an ultrasound.
i had an ultrasound and i had a “ovarian cyst” (and they also did a urine pregnancy test which was negative but it might have been too early?) .
Now its about 3 weeks after i found out i had a cyst (4 weeks since i had sex and…
Since I “found out” i had the cyst i have gained 6 lbs, lower abdomen is jutted out and hard with the upper abdomen not as hard but very bloated, my breasts are tender with whitish small bumps that look like white heads, etc.
They say that a cyst can mimic pregnancy but how much is it going to be like this. My stomach is growing weirdly.
And why did this not happen before i found out i had the cyst?
I did get my period on time.
but this is odd in my opinion. weird right?

Hi does any one know the average cost of breast lump removal. I have to that may need to be removed. I am 27 and have an appointment for an ultrasound soon. I am hoping they are just cysts. But if they do need to be removed how much would it cost roughly. I have insurance with a 2500 deductible.

I’m 21 and in February, my doctor found a breast tumor in my left breast. A week later I received an ultrasound and two mammograms. I was able to see the breast lump on the ultrasound and the mammogram (it was determined that it was not a cyst). The tech informed me that my lump is approximately the size of a quarter (eventhough It feels a lot larger). After looking at the images, the radiologist insisted that it was likely a fibroadenoma. Well, I went back for my four month ultrasound check up last week, and now the radiologists insists I come back immediately for a biopsy. I tried to make an appointment for a week later (since I’m assuming its benign), but they insisted that I come sooner. What could my ultrasound have shown this time that would prompt the doctor to insists on a biopsy asap?
