what is this lump on my breast?
ok so last nov i started to notice it. it seems to get bigger sometimes and then smaller. sometimes it really hurts, sometimes it doesn’t. what is this??
how long can cysts last for?? because this has been here almost a year.
ps i showed my mom and she said she couldnt feel anything. but i know something is there. could it be normal to have a bump?

I don’t know how long it lasts but mine went away in about a year or year and half give it time
Sometimes with your period, you get/notice lumps. They are common and usually normal. A true cyst (fluid filled sack) would have to be identified by ultrasound. All too often, doctors feel a lump and call it a cyst, when in reality it’s just denser breast tissue. Whether it is a cyst or denser breast tissue, they can come and go. I would go show a doctor, especially if breast cancer is in your family, and see what they say.
